Overview:
Have you ever wandered through an art museum, looked at a painting and exclaimed, “I could do that”? Well here’s your chance. This hybrid art history and studio art class will cover some of the most audience perplexing art movements, from abstract expressionism to minimalism, and give participants a chance to try their hand at creating a composition of their own. Join museum educator Alison Caplan for a hands on, stress free exploration of art history for experts and novices alike. All supplies will be provided.
