In Studio: Student Field Experience with Local Artists
Local artists are important contributors to our local economy, yet many students have never had the opportunity to meet an artist or thought about what it takes to work in the arts! How many of your students have met a professional artist?! Allow us to introduce them to some!
Summit Artspace offers an immersive experiential learning opportunity for students in 6-12 grade. Through this field trip, they will meet with working artists at various stages in their careers and participate in interactive dialogues with artists that encourage creative business literacy. Students will also learn of local and regional contemporary art trends by exploring our galleries and participating in fun activities along the way!
