Shannon is a mixed media artist. She uses paper scraps, old hardware, wood and discards of all kinds to create whimsical characters, prints, cards, coasters, apparel and more! She sees beauty in the brokenness and loves sharing her passion for making things from practically nothing with others. She runs workshops and art camps that provide a place where kids and adults have the opportunity to explore, experiment and create. She has run art workshops in small traditional classroom settings, homeless shelters, corporate offices, libraries, malls and large-scale public events. She loves creating – her next project, class or camp is always her favorite!
Shannon was the director of Art Education for a performing arts school where she ran the department, taught classes, held shows and did set design for the theater department. She has also created murals, and sculptures for businesses, brands and cities. Her big claim to fame is her project for Olay that landed her a spot in Oprah’s O Magazine where I she was named a Fearless, Female Artist of the year. (2018)
