International Artist Day is Monday, October 25! To celebrate, we are spotlighting the work of some of our wonderful resident artists and organizations over the next week. Today we are featuring Janean Ray, a photographer who captures everything from A to Z. Here’s what she’s been up to since moving into her studio this past February!
Janean is working on inventory and smaller items for purchase such as cards, notepads, and desk size photos. She is also rotating out the images on the wall to bring in more of what she’s captured over the years during her visits to England, the Grand Canyon, and the Arches National Park. Janean keeps several of her photo books on hand for visitors to look through and is working on an interactive portfolio that visitors to her studio can click through on their own to find the right image for whatever their need may be.
Whether you are interested in architecture, animals, or automobiles, Janean has something for everyone! She also does custom orders and commissioned work.
You can find Janean on the first floor of Summit Artspace in studio #122 and on social media.
