University of Akron/Myers School of Art student Maria Uhase presents her senior show of watercolor and oil paintings, May 9-18, in the Summit Artspace Transition Gallery.
Opening reception is May 10, 4-7 p.m. Her work often involves subjects of nature, with various flora and fauna interacting in unusual, surreal ways.
The exhibit is free and open to the public. Hours are Thursdays and Fridays, 12-7; Saturdays, 12-5.
